In my time both as a student and employee in the fashion industry, I’ve been exposed to some incredibly creative people and their works. I’ve been taught to push my limits and express my world views via fashion.

But in the past year, I’ve stopped to consider the role of fashion to me, and how it has added value to my daily life, and significance to the relationships I share with the people around me.

In some ways more than others, I’ve begun to see fashion less as an expression of beauty but a lens that borrows perspective to beauty in objects we find most familiar. This is the beauty of everyday fashion, where we celebrate the most ordinary moments in our extraordinary lives.
